Add records to a standard base table
This part of the guide explains how to add a record to a standard base table. Only values that are not of fixed type can be added to the table (the Create button is avalaible). When the table contains only fixed values, no entry is allowed (the Create button id not displayed).
SIGTAS allows the administrator to translate standard base table records into the local language of his choice. When this is the case, a dynamic icon, located to the right of the field to be translated, indicates that a translation is possible. Step 1 - Go to page Standard Base Tables
- Go to the Administration module;
- Choose the Base Tables option;
- Click the Standard Base Tables menu. This action opens the Standard Base Tables page (509:6000);
Step 2 - Add a record to a standard base table
- Go to top section;
- Using the drop-down list, choose the name of the table to display. This action opens the search window to choose the table to display;
- Find the table to display;
- Click on the table you wish to add record to. This action displays the table values already registered in the lower section;
- Click the Create button. This action displayd the Add Record to a Table popup window;
- Fill out the required fields (identified by a red asterisk *). For example, Description, etc.;
- Click the Save button. This action adds the new record to the table.
