Add an owner to a property

This part of the guide explains how to add an owner to a property.

A secondary owner cannot be assigned to a property if no primary owner is assigned. Once an owner has been designated as the primary one, the secondary owner can be added

The following example demonstrates how to associate a principal owner to a property. This procedure is standardized and applies also to the secondary owner.

Step 1 - Go to the page List of Properties

1. Go to the Property Tax module
2. Choose the Properties menu. This action opens the List of Properties page (506:3001);
   

Step 2 - Add an owner to a property

3. Find the property for which you want to add an owner;
4. Click the hyperlink of the ID subject of the request. This action opens the Property page (506:2000);
5. Go to the Owners section
6. Click the Manage Owner button. This action opens the pop-up window Add Initial Owner;
7. Go to the Property Information section;
8. Enter a Start Date;
9. Go to the Owners section;
10. Click the Create button. This action opens the pop-up window Owner;
11. Fill out the required fields (identified by a red asterisk *), For example, TIN;
12. Check the Principal Owner box;
13. Enter the % of the property held by the principal owner;
14. Click on the Save button. This action confirms the addition of the principal owner and updates the pop-up window Add Initial Owner;
15. Click on the Save button. This action updates the Property page (506:2000).
